Vivek Ramaswamy: Out of US Presidential race, supported Trump

Donald Trump, the former US president, has begun to attack Republican rival Vivek Ramaswamy, accusing him of being a danger to his "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) campaign.

Donald Trump modified his campaign strategy and began criticizing rival Republican contender Vivek Ramaswamy ahead of the intense US Presidential polls.

As of right now, Ramaswamy and Donald Trump, the Republican nominee for president, seem to be getting along well on the campaign trail.

Trump berated Ramaswamy as the "other side" and asked voters not to waste their time on him.

In addition, Trump referred to him as a danger to his "Make America Great Again" campaign.

Trump stated, "Vivek started his campaign as a great supporter, "the best President in generations," etc." in a post on the social media platform Truth. Sadly, all he does today is use dishonest campaign tactics to cover up his support. Very cunning, but don't be fooled by this: voting for Vivek is voting for the "other side." Cast your ballot for "TRUMP," and don't waste it! It's not MAGA, Vivek. The accusations made by Biden against his political opponent are already starting to unravel; they will never be accepted in this nation! MAGA!!!"

A few hours later, Chris LaCivita, a key counselor to Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, also attacked Ramaswamy harshly, labelling him a "fraud," a "classic conman," and a "vegetarian." LaCivita penned the scathing remarks in a post on X, where he also urged readers to give Trump more support.

"If you are a Republican and in Iowa and support Donald Trump you need to be on the look out for #VAFAKE... but beware...he’s a Vegetarian," he said in an article on X.

"Here’s the plot: Vivek Ramaswamy is a fraud...and a classic conman...a classic “pump and dump” scheme on the MAGA movement...," he added in a post on X.

RAMASWAMY RESPONDS

Subsequently, Ramaswamy addressed the attacks in a thorough note on X. Ramaswamy lauded Trump and referred to him as "the greatest President of the 21st century," calling it “unfortunate.”

In addition, Ramaswamy stated that he would not be criticizing Trump for his previous remarks.

"Yes, I did view President Trump's post on Truth Social. His campaign strategists made a terrible decision, and I don't think friendly fire is beneficial. Donald Trump was the greatest President of the 21st century, and I’m not going to criticise him in response to this late attack...,” he said in a post on X.

"I’m worried for Trump. I’m worried for our country. I’ve stood up against the persecutions against Trump, and I’ve defended him at every step. I showed up at the Miami courthouse in solidarity following his first federal indictment," he added.

Ramaswamy shared a video with the caption, "Here’s the plot & it’s hiding in plain sight: 1. Narrow this to a 2-horse race between Trump & Haley. 2. Eliminate Trump. 3. Trot their puppet into the White House."

"I respect the hell out of Trump. He’s the best President of the 21st century. I’ve defended him at every step against the unjust persecutions. I filed a Supreme Court brief this week laying out the winning legal arguments to overrule Colorado’s disastrous ruling. I’ve filed FOIA demands against the Biden administration. I went to Miami to rally outside the courthouse against Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s unjust federal indictment of Trump. I’ve called on every Republican to remove themselves from the ballots of Maine & Colorado if they remove Trump. But OPEN YOUR EYES to the hard TRUTH: this system will stop at nothing to keep this man away from the White House. Just because it’s wrong doesn’t mean it won’t happen & we owe it to our nation to take America-First forward," he wrote on X.
